i remember the same ports showing as closed when i did a test there once so i installed outpost as it suggested and it showed exactly the same ;D...
strange not had any problems using the site prior to installing 6 beta
i get access denied with the message below
Access to the web page was blocked by ESET Smart Security. The web page is on the list of websites...
just tried pcflank to run some tests only to find it is now blocked by eset
any reason ? something i missed maybe.
thanks for the info 8)
i was wondering the same thing, i tried using my details on the eset uk site

Prevx SafetyFirst :)
outpost is one firewall i've never tried
my current security suite expires in 4 days so winning one of these would go down a treat:D
thanks for that tip worked for me :)
ok i've had the same e-mail about eset smart security 4 or 5 times the last week or so asking me to renew as it will expire next week.
picked it up from a website last night and nod has been on since day of release.
i picked the same thing (xrun) a few days ago from another site....
just browsing and got a popup from smart security v3 (regged version)about a prog called xrun.exe was trying to access the net i denied it access...

worthless fanboy rantings is going a bit far :P
i didn't say i agree or disagree with the reviewer.
ok maybe i lost the plot after seeing 3...
not saying that at all but a review should do what it intended to do, review the software not advertise another at the same time.
nod might not...
well it didn't inspire confidence when i was greeted by not 1 but 3 ads for
norton on that page alone, and then in the review it goes on about...
you sure it's not symantec supporting them ;D
is that place sponsored by norton, norton ads all over the place :shifty:
i had norton nis 2008 on 1 of the comps here biggest mistake ever....
thanks all that replied all working fine now 8) (fingers crossed)
ok thanks very much, i'm not using that version
maybe it's time for a change 8)
seems like uk support is non existant::)
a couple more days of no reply and i'll just wait my 2.7 expire and find another suite instead of going...
so am i'm the only one having this problem ::)
or is it considered too minor for a response from eset
