Yeah that is 795 which as a bug on 2004, for now upgrade to 871, we're working on 797 to fix that.

That's a norton thingy, won't be fixed either I'm afraid, sometime is does, sometimes it doesn't, app is still protected.
Yes won't hurt to do so, but beware after every update they change path/version name stuff so you'll have to add it again.
On the new 871 build you can just allow these alerts, open event log via "Number of alerts" find the RED anti-malware alerts you wish to allow ->...

That's still possible, mouse click in the alert details, press CTRL-A CTRL-V and you should be able to paste.

There is a reason that some files are left behind, but if you do a regular uninstall and take care of these 2 items you should be good to go.
What's wrong with the regular uninstall options?
