With so many saying how good NOD 32 was I thought I would give it a try.
Certainly looks very impressive - but as it found nothing I think I will just stay
    with Antivir free.

    I use AVG75, as it's free.

Not sure if there is a free version of Avira

After voting for NOD32 as my first choice I am returning to KAV's newest version, although Avira is in a 2nd. place tie with NOD32. My reasons:

KAV is as light a footprint as the others; when selecting to scan only new and changed files it flies through the scan (wish the others could do this) and I find that my up/download speeds are higher than the others. I use speakeasy.net & Michigan State U's sites to verify this.

BUT....I will revert, if better AV test results show KAV lags or that the scan patterns can be implemented to "skip" already scanned files. :thumb:

I voted none, it's even worse than none, I don't have any scanner.
I want to know how bad (or good ?) e-life is without them. ;)

Currently using nod32 on one system and antivir premium on another system. I don't really rely on av's anymore so when mine expire i'll either switch to free or just not use them at all.

AVG Internet Security/BitDefender AntiVirus Plus/ZoneAlarm AV for now. :)

AVG is the preferred product, others are intermediary. :)

Returned to Avast!. Antivir is good, but i was not comfortable. Two icons, detecting that Prevx2 dll would freeze the computer, updates were not clockwise (it's not life and death, but it doesn't feel right).

Detected the same dll upon first scan, no freezing, great sounds (alarm:D ), and a voice "warning a virus has been detected", way cool. I had that turned off last time, but i think i'm going to leave it on. For the rare detection, it brings a little colour to the computer.:)

OMG, they lost many positions, nods peek time is over! They step back.. nod is so easy to bypass for the black hats.

I belong to the 1% GData users, that still is Nr.1 of all. Bitdef+Kav = Top.

I think Nod is better than ever, and tests are not competitions really, I see Nod working effectively in real life, and so far it hasn't failed once (I run Kaspersky on line scan once a month and never finds anything).

I'm running Nod32, found its file scanner/monitor AMON to be much lighter than kaspersky's on my system. I also have the free version of bitdefender as a on-demand scanner both work well.

On an older computer Im running Avast, with ClamWin AV no problems.
