Anyone from ESET care to comment on current status / next beta release schedule.... Not that I'm getting impatient or anything.

    Thanks,

Are you having some issues with the current beta? If you have one with the firewall when working in interactive mode, I could send you a fixed dll.

    Marcos,

No, I haven't installed the beta. Just been lurking here and reading all of the posts and waiting... I run Nod32 but need a good firewall. From my reading of posts here, the first beta is missing several features and the firewall appears to have some issues (poor leaktest performance, editing rules in automatic mode...)

Are you saying that the current beta release is ready for the installation on a production computer? If not, I repeat my earlier question:

It's a general rule that any beta should not be installed on a productional system. Shortly there will be a newer beta with most reported bugs fixed available (a beta with some new features will follow a bit later).

I have experienced some weird behaviour in interactive mode.

I'd like that DLL as well.

    Thank you.

I'm testing ESS firewall in interactive mode. Will you be so kind to send me this fixed DLL too?

Since we have received too many requests for the dll, I'd suggest that you wait for a newer installer which will have all reported bugs fixed. It will be announced in this forum shortly.

The next beta will not bring any new features yet, it will be just a minor update that will address most of the bugs you have reported.

Will it address my BSOD problem? Turns out that ESS doesn't work with either of my network adapters.
