Recommendations for email-checker ?

Ok, I have about up to a zillion different web-based email-accounts, and it drives me crazy having to log into all of these one by one.

Can You please recommend me a good and *trustworthy* lil program that checks and retrieves emails simultaneously ?

How about ePrompter ??

I generally use an email client (Thunderbird) to handle all my email and I dont know how ePrompter would compare, though PopTry may be a similar utility worth trying.

I know many people just luv Thunderbird. But I am really just looking for a *small* notifier - not a stand-alone email client.

I'll give PopTray a try.

 

Not sure if this fits the need or not. I only use the free version on my lap top. The paid vers. supports multiple profiles but do not know if it will work with web based e mail.

Well WSF, so I tried Poptray,... and ThunderZ...thanx to both of you for your suggestions. But I must admit that I don't like neither of them.

I DO have a Gmail notifier already. Unfortunately, it doesn't check all the other web-mails.

Any other suggestions ?

I've used ePrompter for years and it's always worked perfectly, except when the webmail providers change their setups so that ePrompter stops working with them. When that happens, ePrompter is usually updated automatically very quickly, which is great for a freebie.

I have tried loads of email checkers and always come back to ePrompter in the end.

 

I was using eprompter for a number of years and really liked it.

I then tried pop peeper and I liked it even better. With pop peeper there is no limit to how many accounts you can have. With eprompter you were limited to a certain number which I believe was 16.

Also, with pop peeper you can password protect the entire program but with eprompter you had to password protect each account individually.

Both programs are great so take your pick.

It is not free, but it is a great program !
I am using it for years.
My main purpose to use it, is for its filter possibilities.
