I am looking for a virus solution for our small network with about 50 Windows based computers.

I need the solution to have a automatic local definition updates, meaning a server or a PC should check and get one definition file to the local and all the clients should update from there.

I also like the system to have a PUSH update method?

I have tested Symantec and McAfee but they are very bulky.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I expect per user price to be less than 20$

I believe sophos antivirus will fit the bill. If you go with extended plan say 2 or 3 years you get reduced pricing per computer. It has central config and push for updates. sales tel#781-973-1142. Moderaters can remove phone number if not allowed to post.

For small company I would suggest Sophos, Trend Micro and Kaspersky Business

Do not, I repeat, do not get Sophos. Sophos is just poor.

Take a look at F-prot. It has good detection and the cost is very reasonable for corporate users. About $10 per user for 50 computers.

    http://www.f-prot.com/products/corporate_users/win/

    * Advanced heuristics-based detection defends against new and unknown threats
    * Flexible management of program settings
    * Choice of either Internet Update or LAN Update versions
    * Automatic file system protection that scans and disinfects all file types, including those downloaded by web browsers and e-mail applications
    * Improved, automated virus signature file updates and software upgrades
    * More advanced detection of malicious programs
    * Suspicious/infected files are automatically backed up into a safe quarantine area before they are disinfected or deleted
    * Exclude files from automatic and manual scan
    * Schedule tasks to scan for viruses at a specified time and date
    * Password protection to prevent unauthorized modification of your settings
    * Protection against malicious ActiveX code downloads (such as Microsoft ActiveX Controls or installs)
    * Many, many more details on the features of F-PROT Antivirus can be found in the datasheet.
