Hi, folks: Just inst and tested run. Prevx1 immediately picked up something and trying to cleanup and then system froze up. o_O I will try it again. I tested in DF's Frozen state, therefore no harm is done. ;)

I tested it using the quick scan. It ran fairly quick and didn't find anything. :D

I decided to copy the folder it was in to my flashdrive and I learned that the program places an ADS tag :)License:$DATA) on the pavark.exe executable. Of course, moving the file to a FAT32 flashdrive would blast the ADS tag until it is used again on some other PC...

    Hi Perman,
as you can see in this italian thread:
    http://www.pianetapc.it/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4656
you are not the only one to experience problem between Panda Antirootkits & Prevx1.
Prevx seems to see something souspicius in this driver:
    rkpavproc.sys
and it put it in quarantine, but it would have to belong to Panda.
Probably because PandaAR is a new product it has not been inserted yet in Prevx comunity database.
    We wait for update :)

Hi, Jeff: Thank you for your intime input. At least I know that I did not see a double. Also this incident has demonstrated that Prevx1 has lived up to its claims: will detect something never seen before. None of the other security apps has singled Panda AR out, do'nt they smell something fishy? o_O

Some web sites, for example Sophos, do not allow direct link to a file download or maybe a picture. So be next time, I will try to post the site address only. :)
