Yes. You can do it during installation, or once KAV/KIS is installed go to service > license info > add

FWIW this offer is extended until tomorrow, heh. Tomorrow it will probably be extended until the 8th...... :p

The offer is still on until the 7th. Boy, that is a tremendous offer, and I wish I could take advantage of it.
HOwever, with a 2 year license for KAV 6, which is not running well for me and not on my computer, and on my laptop I have a 3 year license for FSIS which is running so well I want to "let sleeping dogs lie, I just can't find a need or use for the KIS offer.:( :(

    Regards,
    Jerry

Will not complete a system scan, and freezes the system, plus sometimes does not start initially although it does so in a moment on its own.
I'm hoping that V7 corrects whatever is causing the problems. It did not start until MP2.

It was the latest version at the time, and was .6 something. I uninstalled KAV around March 17th.

    Best,

    .2.621 probably then.
What other security software did you have installed?

What did you try to get it to work?

I had about what I have now on my laptop, see signature. I worked with the Forum folks, and tried various things, including providing dmp files.
As much as I like KAV, it is just too much trouble at this time, and I'll wait on version 7, or at least MP3.

    very strange.
But sometimes it can happen don't know why.

.621 is working great for me but the new v7 beta isn't. Can't get it installed.

    Just have to wait than

I will also have to make sure that the V7 is running well for most folks.

I just could not pass up such a good deal. I am betting that KIS7 will work for me in time, and so I placed my order. If I only get one year it will be worth it.

I am not sure what folks were talking about converting to the Kaspersky key. Can I do that before I activate the KIS? I guess that the time starts either way on the date of purchase.
This may be a case of "A fool and his money are soon parted." :D :D

The thing with this deal is, Is this key good for ALL version updates??..
Since Kaspersky black listed a ton of keys in the end of last year, this comes into play in a large way from now on. At least for me.

HA, you really dont know me then :D
cant see if happening, not for another 3 years anyway, unless something goes TOTALLY wrong.

likuidkewl: i see no reason why they wont be upgraded or recieve all updates, each key uses a unique key-code, so unless people dont share their own licences, the keys should remain WHITE-listed to kaspersky.

    Hi thehudd,
Did you install KIS and exchanged during the installation, or can you do it without installing KIS? I do not want to install it now, and maybe not for 6 months or so, and it might be advantageous to get the regular Kaspersky key.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

I have a few things to say about this offer. Unistal seems to be running the SysTweak website. They are a partner for Kaspersky, but they are not your usual type of partner. They *always* have this type of deal, i.e. you buy one of their products and get a Kaspersky license free. This is their method of distributing Kaspersky products, as it helps promote their own products as well as Kaspersky's.

Earlier, they were running a promotion that you could buy their "Crash Proof" (Data Loss prevention) software and get a KAV license free for $29 only. Now they have a similar deal: They sell "Crash Proof" for about $58 and offer a 3-year, 3 PC license for KIS free (This deal is only in India). I did ask them via phone about renewals, and they said that they will always be running an offer like this (i.e. buy one of their products and get KAV/KIS free), and hence you will always be able to get KIS/KAV at a discounted price (Hence, there is no renewal, but you will need to re-purchase a license of KAV/KIS at a discounted price).

As for the keys, they should be 100% legit, and "HCL" is a major vendor of branded computers in India. I suppose Unistal has a tie-up with HCL Computers to distribute KIS. Either way, the keys are legit.

This offer is perpetual and everlasting in India (Been going on since 2003 now). Whether it remains so for the world is yet unknown to me. Unistal is based in New Delhi, India. You can see their website at http://www.unistal.com

I suppose the reason they are offering 3 year licenses for KIS is that they probably do not yet have any keys for 1 year licenses (probably because they are not your normal distributor/resellers, and are probably currently distributing keys meant for use with their "Crash Proof" software). In this case, the 3-year offer may not last long, so everyone who wants KIS, make hay while the sun shines, as this offer is totally legit! ;)
