Who Do I thank??

    Today I had a terrific day. My primary hard drive was so slow I decided to replace it. I had a replacement drive but getting it in the PC was so difficult with wires all over the place not to mention I dropped the new drive on the floor and it took a very hard knock.

    Anyway I started up my PC and put in Acronis 9 bootloader and 'added a new disk' which it recognised (320gb) and formatted it and then transferred this afternoon's image from my D drive ALL IN ONE GO and then booted into Windows as if nothing had happened!!!

    AWESOME!! THANKS ACRONIS/ I know you got my money but I defintely got my money's worth ten times over and enough to thank you.

    TRUE IMAGE just did everything from initialising the disk to partitioning it to formatting it and then restoring an image of my replaced C drive from my D drive. Everything was there. The Disk name was right, the size was correct and all the information was there that I had this afternoon and it only took about 15 minutes once I got the actual drive in my compartment.

    The thing is I wasn't sure about whether it would recognise my drive and which software to use until I saw the 'add a new drive option' in the True Image boot cd. I rang around and got quotes of $50 to $75AU to come and replace the drive for me. Had I not had True Image I could have ran into trouble but things went so smooth that I can now buy something instead of paying a technician and that means I'm very grateful for this program which makes life a hell of a lot more easier.

    PS The only time I ever had trouble with True Image was when I had faulty memory. I kept getting errors and checked my ram and it was faulty. Otherwise not a problem in 3 years.

    I hope our Acronis Tech Support staff see this and share it with the programmers.

    There are mostly people here because of a problem, so it's nice when a report of success is posted.

    Hey ... Of all the softwares that I have purchase ? I would say TI is the best of them all , Never had one single problem and I have done so many cloning over and back ups , Thanks ATI

    Keep this up and they'll increase the price.:D

    I agree - great product. One big reason it's a great product is the support from this forum.

    But where is the support if you don't find a solution in this Forum?
    From Acronis i didn't receive any support so far!!!
