The first one was suggested by a native English speaker, it's normal to use it this way in Slovak, for instance. The second one is caused by a small window size, if you enlarge the window you'll see the text in its entirety.

Kind of odd about the first one because they are both independant clauses. As for the second part, I had a feeling that was the case. Anyways, that would not affect my decision on trying and perhaps purchasing the product ;) I'm looking forward to the public beta release.

Let's worry about actually getting the beta, testing it and finding bigger issues first.

It would be a semicolon. Colon would not be acceptable there. But I'm from the US so period works fine for me as well.

Ahh yes, the underused and underappreciated semicolon also works :) But, alas, I'm far more interested in the beta release than these trivial matters :D

OK, changed to "The current scan can be moved to the background. This will enable you to run an additional scan simultaneously." Hopefully this is the only "bug" in the beta and you will be satisifed with it when it becomes available. ;)

Well, I used 2.5 (or was it 2.7? cannot remember) right after the beta came out, never a single bug, as good as a final version...
this can be both a blessing and a curse for Eset... I have no doubts that I'll renew my license when it expires, but I will also expect a much higher quality than from other vendors :)

    Nos is an awesome AV!

When v3 will be estimated out?

Will it have a firewall embedded as well?

So that hippie red, green blue fade will be there? I'm hoping it's something that'll be gone by the time I start using it.

Eset is presenting an Internet Security suite at CeBIT (hall 6, stand J16). Eset Smart Security adds a firewall and antispam function to the existing NOD32 virus scanner.

The solution goes easy on computer resources even though it provides better protection for systems by integrating components. Eset has announced a public beta version that can be downloaded starting on 2nd April 2007; interested parties can, however, already have a look at Smart Security at the vendor's stand.

Only eight days away from a public beta of the Smart Suite.
I'm eagerly waiting for it...like a prince counting the days for his dearest princess to come :)

Right....you are. I have never seen such crazy, childish behaviour about a piece of software. I am beginning to understand the movements with the Moonies or something. o_O

I'd rather call this eagerly-waiting mood "zeal".

By the way, I think WSF is a techinical forum, not a religions one, so please stay fast to the topic.

    Hi there,

I think and hope they will use the full and new SpamCompiler 4.0 Turbo Version here:
    http://www.mailshell.com/mail/client/oem2.html/step/newfeatures

    Some specs:

    http://www.mailshell.com/mail/client/graphics/oem_sdk_newfeatures_header.gif

If this is true, this will rock, really cool :)

In my opinion and as the Mailshell webpage says, the lite version is more for mobile devices, etc...

    best regards,

    iNsuRRecTiON

There's nothing wrong with expressing an occasional dose of enthusiasm.
