Hey! Maybe this thread could be renamed to................
    "Cryware"? :D

(this is a joke, for all the non-smiley, non-Englaise, non-humour folks  )

Well, that must be my post which wasn't intended to be offensive, although fasc***s might be, but who cares about them. :) I'm a little bit surprised about the "censorship", because it was clearly only a "humorous" post, but I take it lightheartedly.

LowWaterMark,as I can only speak for myself take this at face value. This thread has been split and post removed so as it makes no sence and is out of context.I feel the whole thread here should not only be closed but removed. The split thread should stay open even if it is a bit out of context also.Thank's for your time reading here.

Actually, I think the original (other) thread (with all this extra stuff removed) makes sense just fine. There's almost nothing there that is out of context or off topic now, as it's mainly about the technical support issue.

Certainly, this one makes less sense, although with the couple cross links added, readers can follow along the many off-topic streams of thought that are posted in it. Basically, I left it so people can see a good example of what happens when off topic posts get out of control in a thread. All too often we get complaints about just removing off topic posts, which I'm sure we would have in this case given the huge number of them needing removal.

In any case, the first thread with the technical issue is going to stay. This one will definitely be closed soon, and it may well be removed, but I haven't decided on that yet.

Hi, Adm: I fully support your decision whatever it may be for the sake of this forum's integrity. But please take this into your consideration; Those posts which are directly derivated from its main technical issues, such as support concerns, may have some merits to stay. As far as debates among third parties, which have various after tastes, are concern, you have my blessing to give them a boot. Have a nice one.

Not yet but working up to that. First thing is first over here. I've experienced some unusual drive errors a couple of times so am installing couple of huge hard drives (250Gb) in a dual setup and working on imaging the main unit to a partition on them. I want to make sure i get this hard drive management thing down correctly and this time back up everything to everything including the kitchen sink. I only today was able to finally enter the program-thick Western Digital HD that for some reason malfunctioned 2 months ago after an install with Avira. I still don't know what fudged that drive but the BIOS now recognizes it after using a PARAGON Hard Drive (BootStrap) program. Probably and likely was an MBR issue but with these computers and so much involved in them sometimes you never know exactly what's hit them when they go down. So many possibilities you know.

    Thanks for asking.

On-Topic: SUPERAntispyware doing fine as usual here so far. Didn't realize the WebRoot problem maybe because i use the Window-Washer and not SpySweeper which i hear a lot of issues about it being bloated now.

    Regards

there is not much point in using windows washer really since its wash doesnt do a through enough job just do the most throught wash then run a simple undelete program and see that the files are still there.

I only said that people were not understanding well one of the posters (SAS). I didn't expect what came afterwards. I hope it won't happen again from my part.

As usual, i understand a moderator's position, and agree it should be deleted.

well whats bothering you is locked in your imagination. if you cannot understand a focused entrepeneurs desire to mange his time for efficiency and effectiveness, instead of rehashing the complaints of some whiny little brat all over the internet, then you have probably not walked in his shoes.

i do not know Nick from the easter bunny, but i do use his product. not because of anything he has said or done, but because many of you have endorsed it, i trialed it and it's now a keeper on my system. so i am not defending him from some misplaced since of loyalty, but he has the right to use his time in a manner that benefits his organization and all of his end users. he is afterall the only one amongst that knows what is on his plate and the resources he has available to handle it.

I understand your point and it's true but i use Window Washer for another purpose and thats to sweep out the leftover items w/Bleach (i don't give a lot of credence to that :D )

It's used in combo with Crapcleaner plus a couple other like Dclean, ClearCache etc. all at once then reboot. After that if you really want things tidy use Restoration to find deleted files and select DELETE COMPLETELY plus afterwards REMOVE FILE RECORDS. That's about as clean as i can get windows without taking some industrial strength detergent to the hard drive. :thumb:

Hi, Simmikie: I thought this issue has had a happy ending, gone is by gone. I was a bit surprised that it rised from the ashes again. I like to take this rare opportunity to say few words. I have and still am in the present tense walking and wearing the same type of shoes as Nick, perhaps in different sizes. I and my staff have been through similiar situations. We have learned the hard lessons. And now no one, including myself is allowed to use the phrase such as"my time is valuable" in the event of disagreement w/ defiant clients. I respect Nick's achievement and do wish his continued success. At the same time I do assume he has an open mind of businessman to accept any suggestions from all sides. I currently use SAS and SAB, am a happy camper. I will continue to support him and his products despite of this little incident. I do hope that this talk-about has come to an end.
