Link Scanner Pro Monitor appears to do this. I am just evaluating this program at present.

Be aware than SiteAdvisor is known to label legitimate sites as dangerous.
On the other hand, "clean" sites can be hijacked well before SiteAdvisor updates the ratings.

It looks like you have enabled the address bar indicator in WOT and it's causing some problems with your theme. Unfortunately, when more than one extension or theme make changes to the address bar in Firefox at the same time, things tend to break. I recommend you use the toolbar indicator instead. If you continue to experience difficulties with WOT, please drop us a note.

Oh its a pay thing. I'll stick with WOT and the free version of SiteAdvisor. Thanks for the info though.

Now this is the only deficiency I feel in Opera.

No SiteAdvisor, No LinkScanner, No WOT.
    I can only use Scandoo.

There is a free version too. See here
The paid version adds a LSP which intercepts network traffic.
The free version works as SiteAdvisor, but it´s only for IE at this moment.

No offence to anyone - but this is pretty funny that this thread is listed under privacy software. Seeing as WOT works off of cookies - Isn't it self-defeating regarding privacy? I don't know how Linkscanner works, but I'm willing to bet in a similar fashion. The same could be said for SiteAdvisor. Announcing to a third party what you're searching for is about as far from "privacy" as one could get.

Actually, the WOT add-on doesn't use cookies during its normal operation. Our website uses cookies to automatically log you in, but that feature can be turned off if you prefer.

I cannot vouch for our competition, but we do our best to preserve our users' privacy, and have been very open about what information we receive and what we do with it. Read our privacy policy, if you haven't already.

The WOT add-on sends only the hostname part of the URL to our server, and only when the reputation isn't already cached. Even the hostname is encrypted. We don't permanently store information on where you visit or what sites were in your web searches. And anything our system no longer needs for computing reputations is deleted immediately.

Is WOT a blacklist tool or is there some site/traffic analysis as per advertised with Linkscanner?

    Thx.

WOT is a reputation system, which collects information mainly from its users, but also from hundreds of automated sources. The add-on won't analyze websites or your web traffic, it merely shows you reputations. However, WOT is not just a simple blacklist tool either. If you'd like to learn more, please check out our blog.
