Opera, not only it is fast and light, but safe IMO. I have never had any prompts from my security apps even visiting high risk websites.

Firefox when I want security (you can't beat the addons: AdBlock, Customize Go0gle, NoScript, TorButton, etc.).
But Opera's got the speed edge. And it's number one feature, IMHO, which none have mentioned: Voice-controlled browsing. My computer is called "Hal".
    "Hal, reload
"Hal, books" and voila!: my local library webpage.
    "Hal, go back" etc.

I have yet to hear "I'm sorry, I can't do that Dave." :)

Fully customizable Firefox is the best browser I have ever used.
    Is it the fastest? No.
    Is it stable? Not everytime.
    Why Firefox?
Because it provides everything you need as a surfer or researcher, thanks to their extension applications.

    Firefox till death...

Love Firefox and have used it for 2 years but i am one of those that is experiencing issues like leaks and stalling. By that i mean using the latest version, all of a sudden, i can't browse any longer and down in the lower left it says 'Stopped'!. Have uninstalled almost all extensions with no improvement. Upon opening task manager, mem usage extremely high. So even though i did not want to, i've left Firefox for Opera and am very impressed with it's speed.

So Goodbye Firefox:'( but you forced my hand and don't think i'll be back.

Opera, aka the best browser for a long time, should have its own slot, not 'Opera or another'...

Extensions, mextensions, Opera is better. Safer, easier, more functions, standards compliant, inovative, light... Hell, you can even talk to it:eek: . Lets wait until it talks back...
mail, torrent,... oh my god, why don't you all use it?

Firefox appeal is due to customization. You make your own browser.
Opera does whatever you want, except some details. It brought us tabbed browsing...

    Opera, roughly speaking, RULES!:-*

edit: those pages that won't open in Opera or Firefox... well guess why...
