Trend Micro (virus tests?)

Does anybody know where I can find some virus detection comparisons that include Trend Micro?

I know that virus.gr includes them but I am hoping to find more tests if possible just to see how they are progressing these days.

i have no link, but av-test.org have a few with trend micro involved.

if memory serves me right, its about 91%

 

Thank you for the idea of that test site. Unfortunately I cannot make much sense of that site, even after clicking English it still doesn't change to English. Many of the test links on that site don't even work because the sites that they have linked to must have changed URL's and so on.

Does anybody have any direct links for their test results?

ok,

here is the one from september i think, they only publish such results in magazines and such i think, but im curious to see the next test results, whenever they may be, this is one of few reliable detection rate tests.

trend was 93% not 91% as i thought it was,

Wasnt that a Anti-Trojan test?... or was it a Anti-Malware test?

 

it was only on the categories backdoors, trojans and worms.

Doesn't WebWasher use the AntiVir engine?

According to this, WebWasher AV (for the gateway only) uses the McAfee, Sophos and ComputerAssociates engines.

 

Kaspersky's engines are not welcomed there...

 

yes, it does indeed use the Avira Antivir engine and i think it also modified it a bit. Either that or they added their own engine to it also.

id prefer the information the makers of the product provide, CA, sophos and mcafee engines, they clearly state it in english and mention nothing about avira.

 

O I checked it out. i see it does use ca, mcaffe, and sophos. but i realy doubt all of thre of themcombined can reeally get 99%

Lol but what are the chances of happening CA is so weak, sophos is weak, and mcafee is Okay. i think mcAfee would pick up most of what sophos and CA pick up. too much off topic posts. ally my posts on this thread wil be removed.

 

i think the chances are pretty good.

sure mcafee has a decent enough detection rate, and the rest will, most likely be caught by either sophos or ca, with mcafee getting the 95% detection, im sure sophos and ca were able to pick up on the remaining 5%>

but i dont fully agree with multiple engines, f-secure is the only one that works for me... but even that doesnt have 3 AV engines, dont agree with it, and avk operates poorly and even though i havnt tried trustport, i bet that is poor pc performance too.
