    Hey folks,

I have TI9 and fully bootable CD. I have just purchased a laptop with Vista Home Ultimate Premium Extra Special Edition Version 2. (Ok, it's just Home Premiere.)

Anyway, I'd like to boot off the TI9 CD and image the entire drive (which I also preume has a recovery partition) to a USB hard drive so I can format the drive and put Vista Business on it.

If I run into troubles, will I be able to restore the image back onto the laptop?

It seems to me it should work unless the laptop mfg. has done something weird to the disk? But Vista is just NTFS as with XP, eh?

    Hello tcv,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please have a look at this thread regarding the behaviour of earlier versions of Acronis True Image with Vista operating system.

    Thank you.
