Does Acronis True Image Workstation 9.1 work with Vista, if now when can we expect Vista version?

Yes, it works quite well from the boot disk, though not officially supported for installation in Vista. To be on the safe side, you should make your backups with the boot CD which backs up any NTFS partition without regard to contents.

One down-side of 9.1 is that because it does not recognize Vista, it also does not distinguish those files that do not need to be backed up, like the page file, temp files, temp internet files, etc. that are usually not included in an Acronis image. So your image will be close in size to the original used space in the partition.

Don't be so sure of that Marat. Did Acronis ever try a Recovery from the Linux disk to another computer before you put out the product?

The Universal Restore option does not even come up with the latest versions of 3886 Workstation and Universal Restore when you have backed up from Vista. At least it does not for me using stock PC's.
