TI10: Scheduled backup 1x on 2 days?

Hello.
I want to make a full backup on Tueday and Friday, at the 1st time I start the computer on these days. Is that possible?

 

The Tuesday, Friday schedule; Yes is the answer.

At boot time, a little more difficult I think. You might be able to do this by making a Windows Task.

To make life easier, why not do it at shutdown on Monday and Thursday, this TI can do using it's built in scheduler

But I use my computer several times a day, and i don't want TI to make a backup everytime I shut down.

 

You should see a check box for "Once a day" for your scheduled task, check that and you should get what you want. I've tried both "When my computer starts" and "When my computer shuts down" in the past. If you run the task at startup, it runs the risk of competing with other startup programs. I think at shutdown is the better option, just be aware that a reboot will also trigger the backup, and that will count as your once a day.

 

But then it's ove ADAY. But i want it once on Tueday and Friday.

 

Yep, you're right, I missed that. I don't know how to set up that schedule, other than starting the backups manually or setting the start time for late in the day.

You can accomplish a very similar schedule. Choose “Perform the task weekly”, check the boxes for desired days, check the box “If the computer is turned off, run missed tasks when it will be started”, and set the time to perform the backup earlier than you’re most likely to first turn the PC on, and later than you power off the previous day (for example, one minute after midnight).
