I've heard alot of people like Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 and even Opera... but hardly nobody has mentioned Netscape 8. Just curious, is Netscape 8 a good browser? Why or why not?

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for your comments :). I liked Firefox but some websites did not load properly. I liked Opera but the same thing. So then when I found Netscape, it's really cool because it can display websites in Internet Explorer or Firefox automatically. But wanted to know if it's safe to use and if theres better options...

Opera, due to its popularity, should really be in it's own catagory, rather than being lumped together with "other".
    For me, K-meleon 1.02.

    Firefox.

AOL let the Netscape team go and outsourced to Mercurial Communications. It is based on the Firefox code.
Netscape 9 was announced in January with a closer connection to Netscape.com internet portal.

I like most Internet Explorer , I like the way it looks like and like it because it is lighter than other browsers on my computer .

The most secure browser is Firefox , in my opinion :thumb:

Well , years ago I could use Internet Explorer and Netscape , may be they were the two most popular . I started with Netscape but it was very slow and full of things I didn't use . Then I deciced to try Internet Explorer and it was lighter , pages loaded faster and it had everything I needed . Since these years I have completely forgotten about Netscape , and never heard anything new about it

abit more on Netscape. Whats included in the 8.1.2 download...
Alot of change since 'Navigator' and 'Communicator' this is Mozilla-Firefox based browser, basically Netscape-firefox + security center + WheatherBug, 18.3MB.
I suspect the Spyware Protection doesn't detect its own adware.

Ask me this a few months ago..and it would have been Opera. Since Firefox went to 2.0...I've been using it lately......I found 1.5 too unstable.

Main reason for giving Firefox the edge...being the add-on "Adblocker". If Opera had an ad blocking widget...I'd still be with it.

Need separated options for "Opera" and "other browser" in that poll.
I'm using Sea Monkey, the new Mozilla suite. Great browser suite with an absolutely awful name!
Never liked the way Firefox looked or felt. The Mozilla suite ran so much smoother for me, and a bit faster.

I always have run Multiple Browsers. IE gets the most mileage however due to the study nature of what i do, attract/capture/test malware against all the popular & not-so-popular security wares.

Opera is my personal favorite, (Speed/Attractive) but i also have Mozilla FireFox and have experimented with a great many others along the way.
