    Hi.
    I am evaluating version 2.05 p3.
In one of the computers of my office, the internet filtering rules disappear ( doesn´t show the rules ( blank page ) ), and when I try to load them again, I can´t because LnS doesn´t assume it.

Could some one help me with this situation.

    Thanks.

    Hi Jodu,

The ruleset may be corrupted for an unknown reason.
Did you try with both rulesets (standard & enhanced) ?

You can open the rulesets with a text editor to see if there is something in them. Especially the number of rules has to be correct, something like:
    [Nb rules]
    Nb=22

    Hi Frederic
Both, and with another one custom

    I will try it.

If I uninstall LnS the problem seems to dissapear, but after one day or two the problem appears again.

    thanks

This computer that is experiencing problems, have you been doing scandisk, and if so has anything for messages that mentions file corruptions or orphaned files? Or you never have noticed?

Never noticed, I will do a scandisk when I arrive to my office, and see what happens.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi.

I did the scandisk, and it seems that was a " problem with some sectors ".
I have uninstalled LnS again, and have rebooted 3 or 4 times and at the moment LnS seems to be working fine.

    Thanks.
    Jodu.

! Now if it happens again, re-try scandisk, if there are any more bad sector reports, you might want to consider backing up ‘EVERYTHING’ and possibly think about hard drive replacement… ;)
