New Comodo firewall coming later today

    Finally got it here also after trying all day. It made it this time without server resetting thank goodness. Now to see just how well it really is or not. LoL

    Anyone know the size of the update to 2.4?
    Can't do the manual update and the auto update gets up to 30% then quits.
    This is on dialup.
    No big deal as I can wait.The older version is working well.

    After update it does not show anymore localhost connections o_O
    One needs now something like TCPView to monitor all connections.

    I did update automatically from the previous release on this test machine and saw no other problems.

    The problem that stays is that when alert level is set to HIGH, the Antivir guard is disabled after reboot. :rolleyes: One has to start Antivir and then manually start the guard service.

    EDIT
    With that update prompt, there came no instruction when to unplug the internet connecting cable. So the firewall was shutdown and leaving the system unprotected before it got a reboot?
    Mine has a few Windows services that normally listen disabled so I don't think my system was corrupted but still, huh. :(
