I am a frequent user of bittorrent, i know nod32 had many good reviews and wanted to purchase it. However, i heard negative comments like it will freeze bittorrent at times. So my question is,Does the new version of nod32 freeze Bittorent?

I run NOD32 and use uTorrent constantly and have never had a single issue. I downloaded quite a bit last week and was seeing speeds of well above 700kbs (have an 8M Comcast connection), so it definately doesn't slow down your downloads either.

I use both utorrent and azureus on Windows XP along with NOD32 and have no conflicts in over 14 months of use.

No problems here either with uTorrent / Azureus. I use NOD since 18 months on this machine (I started using it far before on my old desktop), and use bittorrent only rarely, though. But never encountered a problem.

I've also used utorrent and azureus on Windows XP with NOD32 without any problems. NOD32 is like a good neighbor that gets along with everyone.

I had problem about 12 months ago.Utorrent would freeze up and downloads would stop. However once I had gotten all SP2 Updates the freezing stopped.I have since formatted several times and each time I have had O problems with Nod32 freezing since so if it was buggy it certainly isnt anymore.Like HiTechBoy said, get the free trial www.eset.com and see for yourself that it does indeed work flawlessly with utorrent :thumb:

I use NOD32 with utorrent set to Higher Efficiency and I've never had any problems at all.
