    I thought so.

Let me say it once again please. I'm coying and pasting both inputs from
my NOD32 installation - update setup dialog. If any tailing/starting
spaces in username/password would be present there,
also NOD32 could not do the update.

I have now typed in both inputs and download works. Thus problem
    is solved.

Not correct, NOD32 removes leading and post spacing, hence it allows for updates to proceed, you web-browser does not allow for this.

Thus the issue was a "space" being entered into the web-browser, as typing it in just proved it was so.

    Cheers :D

It is not possible to copy your password in this way. Try copy and paste your un/pw into notepad and see.

Copy and paste from your license email would have worked.

    Cheers :)

I verified NOD32 settings. Password is 10 sings long as my hard-copy of it.
In username are no blanks present.

I upgraded from version 2.5 to version 2.7 on both of my PC's which have NOD32 on them.

    Problems Encountered:

    PC No. 1:

During PC idle time I noticed frequent excessive network traffic by viewing the LAN connection icon in the system tray. Also noticed hard drive activity light on an excessive amount. I do not have an application control (am only using Windows XP SP2 Firewall) so it took me a while to figure out what was going on. The NOD32 Update was stuck in a loop of some kind, would cycle numerous times and then pause for a while before cycling numerous times again and again. I clicked on "Abort" which did not work. I tried to uncheck the Auto Update box which would not work. I "Killed" the main NOD32 process which allowed me to turn off the Auto Update after rebooting the PC.

Prior to the above I re-installed version 2.7 over the already installed version 2.7. This did not correct the problem.

In the near future I plan to do an uninstall, reboot, and then do a clean install of version 2.7. Hopefully this will eliminate the problem.

    PC No. 2:

This software update went OK with one "possible" exception. Windows said that it found a new USB hardware device upon the reboot after the software update. No hardware changes were made. Don't know what to make of this. The PC seems to be running OK.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and that seems to have fixed the problem. I did the same on the other PC even though it did not appear to be having a problem.

I may be off topic, but I just wanted to say that I upgraded to 2.7 from 2.5 with no issues whatsoever. Everything works 100%. I upgraded to Office 2007 and still everything works 100%.

NOD32 has never failed, and has found infections missed by many more popular manufacures.

Today I used NOD32 2.5 with the latest updates (at that moment) on a customers emachine. It found over 27000 infected files and fixed all of them. It also found one unidentified threat and quarantined it.

    Nothing is better then NOD32.

Ok, if I don't not want to wait for the automatic update, and wish to install 2.7 over 2.5 now on an XP system, exactly which link do I use, thank you.

Just wanted to say, so far so good with running 2.7. I've been running it for a few weeks now, with no problems at all to report.

    Thanks Eset!

No, it’s not forbidden, just simply when it is asked 50 times and answered just as many times, it really becomes tedious, at which point we then start to have some fun with our answers… :D

It has been answered several posts above yours.

    Cheers :D

You may not like the answer, but that is the answer, it will take whatever time is required in order to be translated. I'm certain you would not be happy with a botched job.

They DELAY their release to allow time to translate, THIS is a BUSINESS decision of THEIR CHOICE. Eset choose to release when ready, fully test, and after this again when they are ready they then implement translations.

You of course are free to purchase an antivirus of your choice should you not have the patience to wait for Eset to translate.

Time to move on, or this thread will be closed. The answer has been provided to the question at hand.
