This is the official free version webpage just in case you didn't know, then select to download it from the avira servers, not any of the mirrors, since those sometimes take a while to update to the current version and license that is being handed out.

    Cheers,

Whatever the issue is, or changes that may have been made, it would have made more sense to let people here know it ahead of time.

Regarding Comodo, experienced users can save their registration details for "offline" registration on a new install. sometimes their server goes down so i just do it my self "offline sort of"

just curious how much info you can get into here a
I have had this issue for months and finally decided just to stop using it. To bad but this issue is just not worth it. I have always gotten it right from the main site also and not from a mirror.

Recently I started beta testing the new comodo anti-virus. I'm quite happy with it and will keep it around and continue to beta test it.

It's to bad really because antivir is by far the best freeware av available untill comodo comes out with the next version. I'm not sure how good the next comodo version will be in the testing but I'm happy enough with it. I really miss antivir though.
