It does look like a lot of the more powerful security programs also need the user to be Very Knowledgeable to use them correctly.[/QUOTE]

That's what I thought Comodo would be like, but after much investigating I took a chance and installed it. If you choose the automatic option, it's as easy as ZA minus the BS. Even an ignoramous like me has no problems with it. :D

You can download the earlier versions of Zone Alarm on this webpage. They even have a manual that you can download for each version, but it is several hundred pages long.:gack:

You may have seen the results of the tests from firewallleatester.com where Comodo did not fair well. But that was its 1.1 version. Comodo is now in its 2.0 versions and claims to pass all the leak tests on that site, most with its out of box settings. On that site Kill Tests are also featured and Comodo did pretty well in that regard. A more recent leak test result is at the link below, although from another site-

just curious how much info you can get into here a
thanks for that link. I just didn't get it when others were saying that comodo had bad results for leak tests when I knew they were the only one to catch them all.

Even on the link above they only missed one and they have already fixed it.

At any rate Comodo is a great firewall and I'm quite happy with it.
