    Hi,

I recently tried out both Port Explorer and Process Guard and loved them both. So much so that I decided to purchase them. I received a validation code for Process Guard 4 hours after I purchased using Paypal. I purchased Port Explorer the same way and haven't recieved the code for it yet. This was 4 days ago. I have sent several emails to your sales department as specified on your web site but have never recieved a reply. How can I get my validation code? Y'all might want to work on your customer relations a little. Just a suggestion.

    Thank you,

    Jim

    Hi,

Purchased Port Explorer on November 12, and have the same experience as you. No validation code and no reply to my e-mails. Now Port Explorer asks me to by a license before I can use it. Also contacted RegSoft and they sent an e-mail to DiamondCS but I haven’t heard anything from them. Guess I have to ask Visa for a refund in a couple of weeks.

    Regards,
    Jal

I entered my serial, now what ?
You need to shut down the ProcessGuard control panel - the PG icon in the tray. Clicking the X in ProcessGuard only hides the window. Right-click on the Blue PG tray icon and choose EXIT, then restart it from the desktop. The next version of ProcessGuard (version 3.200) is due for release very soon and will auto restart when you have entered the serial number.

ProcessGuard is available in two versions - FREE and FULL.
    Current Version: v3.400 NEW!!!

Yes, that’s the place. I received two e-mails after the purchase.

One saying “Thank you for using RegSoft.com for your purchase of DiamondCS Port Explorer (Home). The Tracking Number for your order is xxxxxxxx etc, etc……..

The other one saying”Your order has been processed and authorized.
Your Order Number is xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx.
Please note: The Order Number should not be mistaken for a registration code.
IMPORTANT: Home licenses such as this one are for use in private residences only, and cannot be used in business/corporate environments.
Serial = [01C] There was an error. Please contact DiamondCS at sales@diamondcs.com.au” etc, etc…….

I also ordered the CD which arrived about a week later, but with no unlock or validation/registration code.

I have access to my side on the member’s area. Nothing on this page helps me getting the unlock key. “Click on any of the links here to download the full version of that product” don’t work and “Your DiamondCS Members Discount is currently 0%” so apparently my purchase is not registered here.

I have the exact same problem that JaL just discribed, and starting December 13 it will be 1 month since I placed my order for Port Explorer.

My last email confirmation also reads: Serial = [01C] There was an error. Please contact DiamondCS at sales@diamondcs.com.au

Meanwhile, I did contact sales several times. I told them what all is wrong, I even sent them a screen shot of the email confirmation. I paid by credit card and they did take my money, but they never reply to my emails and they never sent the codes. I have sent them MANY emails, and I get no response, no matter what department I send the email to.

So, what exactly do I need to do to get my codes? If getting my codes is too much to ask, what can I do to get my money back?

I have the same problem - I paid by credit card on 3 December and got the same message -

Serial = [01C] There was an error. Please contact DiamondCS at sales@diamondcs.com.au

Five emails later and still no response.

I suspect that they have an automated system which has a fault and no one is monitoring it. Maybe they are taking an early Xmas break?

I have suggested to RegSoft that they suspend sales until the problem is sorted.

Does anyone have a telephone number for DiamondCS? I can't find one in the Australian White Pages. But they are a registered Australian Company - I checked.

With all the problems and reports of lowering effectiveness in DiamondCS products, I think its time we all leave the company for dead. They have lied and swindled many times, including telling people they'd get a TDS-4 upgrade, and it never happened. Yes, I know, there was a bogus excuse something like "we need time to develop other things", guess what, that was ANOTHER lie because they're hardly doing ANYTHING! DiamondCS, you're quickly turning into a pot of scammers.

I hate to have to say this but............o_O

DiamondCS are located in Perth Western Australia, I just so happen to live in Perth Western Australia, and I contacted our main Telephone Company here in Australia (telstra) but they cant find a listing for a Company Called DiamondCS anywhere in the Western Australia area, I was told that "No Company of that name is listed in Western Australia Sir" This brings me to immediately do a ABN (Australian Business Number) Search with the local tax department, I cant trace them that way either. Didnt this company also have something called DiamondCS trojan scanner? and that was withdrawn or something like that. This is the result I get from a Yellow Pages Search

No results were found for DiamondCS in Greater Perth WA
No results were found for DiamondCS in Perth CBD WA

    Trading Post Results:
    0 Results for: ["DiamondCS", WA]

Your search has returned no results.

I think it is looking highly likely that these guys have up and gone, the last time the website was updated was 2003

Sorry Guys I tried every possible way to locate these people for you,but Its a no go :doubt:

    Please take note:

To All the people purchasing from DiamondCS, and have not recieved the product, or Serial Code, Please lodge a Transaction Dispute with your Bank or Credit Card Company, discribing in full detail the problem you are experiencing

Transaction Disputes generally take 10-15 days to process in which time you should recieve a full refund Credited to your Account. This is the only way I can sugest, that will guarantee you recieve your Monies, I hope the last post also clarifies whats obviously going on with DiamondCS

As much as I might hate to appear to be springing to the defense of "the competition" if you use the ASIC search available here, http://www.search.asic.gov.au

Then you get these results for Diamond CS.

Extracted from ASIC's database at AEST 18:58:27 on 08/12/2006
Name DIAMOND COMPUTER SYSTEMS PTY LTD
    ACN 009 210 155
Type Australian Proprietary Company, Limited By Shares
    Registration Date 15/12/1986
    Next Review Date 15/12/2006
    Status Registered
Locality of Registered Office Perth WA 6000
Jurisdiction Australian Securities & Investments Commission

Anyone who wishes to seek that information (its public record) can do so, and I am sure if you want their registered address you can pay for the details. Like a lot of small internet companies, I don't think they have an office.

Apologies to all for popping into this thread, but the claim that "No such company exists" is clearly and demonstrably false.

Considering this Company was established in 1986 (wonder what they were doing way back then, and as who, cause Windows wasnt released until 1995, neither was the Internet, go figure) They have applied several times in the last 12 months for change of Office/Change of Location/ Change of Director/ and even Cessation (ceasing to operate as a trader) thats all be registered in Dec 2005. I still cant find a contact number under DiamondCS or indeed Diamond Computer Systems, according to Our Telephone providers here in Australia, there is no listed number. They're up for review on the 15th Dec 2006, so they may have even closed down already,. Seriously though, If you have had no reply in the next few days, I would definately lodge a transaction dispute, and get your money back!

I suggest that you should refrain from drawing any conclusions about the state of the company, and especially from commenting on it in a public forum based on your understanding of the ASIC info, because that understanding is clearly lacking.

The reason you can't find DCS in the whitepages is probably because the dude works from home. A few years ago, a search for my company the same way would not have yielded a phone number either.

The short version: Nothing to see here.

I'm going to dip out of this thread now as I don't want to get embroiled in the DCS debate. I've gone further than I wanted to already.

Hey! Mike was very helpful. I don't know why you are trying to sh*t on him.

NONE of us know what is really going on here. Your comments are premature.

What I don't really understand is why one of this site's owners has not posted something about this situation. For this to go on and on and on and Wilders sits on its duff when I'm sure the truth is known to them gives a poor impression of this site. The official DiamondCS forums are here and DiamondCS has provided almost no support for months now plus there is this sad situation with purchasing one of their products.

We all want to support DiamondCS and we want PG and Port Explorer alive, viable, and here for a long time. But every day the situation appears more dire. If there is light at the end of the tunnel, I don't think we believe that anymore especially in the face of this site's official silence on this matter which perturbs me more than the actual situation with DiamondCS.

Well if you read what he said, you'd understand why, I wasnt the one posting the info about the Company in the first instance, All what I said was I had had no luck in finding any info about them, nor could I access a telephone number either, and he replied that I should not post stuff about the Company in public forums. Read his post again, but anyway Like I said, I tried to find something for these people who have nothing for their money, but as you state, their silence is disturbing to say the least.

I bought PE on the 14th of November and have also been stonewalled, or so it seems. If the guy has been hit by a truck, then surely we have to be understanding. However, waiting for an unlock code (or our money back) from a dead person, takes infinite time which I don't have. If somebody could just help make PortExplorer work in the interim...

What I find the real shame here is that I really liked both products and would have gladly pay for them (and did). It seems the programing side of the house has their **** together while the business side has their collective heads up their collective asses. Such a pity.

I guess that any valid unlock code will work with any copy of the program as the program is downloadable from their web site .

As DiamondCS won't/can't supply an unlock code how about someone with a valid code supplying it off forum to someone able to supply proof of purchase?

I don't think that there would be anything dishonest in doing so.

Having evaluated the program I found it useful and would like to continue using it.

    Any volunteers?
