Just deinstalled PG 3.150 and rebooted to upgrade to 3.410 on an XP HOME SP1 laptop. Installed PG 3.410 and rebooted. PG 3.410 fails during initialization with "The Procedure GetStockobject could not be located in the DLL GDI32.DLL". GDI32.DLL is level 5.1.2600.1789.

Deinstalled PG 3.410 and rebooted. Reinstalled PG 3.150 and rebooted. PG 3.150 is again running successfully.

PG 3.410 is running successfully on my other laptop, only difference is that the 2nd laptop runs XP PRO SP2.

I've run into unique errors on SP1 with different releases of PG in the past (as I know others have reported in this forum).

I'll stick with 3.150 for now and will check back in a few releases to see if the error has been fixed.

If it helps any, I'm a hobbyist (not a PC programmer) and I gathered the following information using a process debugger... maybe you'll get a hint

No problem is so formidable that you can't walk away from it.

Please email support so we can provide you with a different EXE. We offered this to a few and got no proper replies as to whether it fixed the problem.
