The problem is definitely on your part. Make sure that:
- you can ping the update servers
- a firewall is not blocking nod32krn
- the proxy server is configured properly in the advanced nod32 update setup (if you don't use a proxy, it must remain disabled)

 

It updated earlier in the day, and thankfully since i posted this. I did not change any firewall settings, the program is scrolling through the avialiable download sites okay, its just not getting an answer from them

That's because there was no connectivity on your part at that time (maybe a glitch at your ISP). All update servers have been up and running all the time.

 

Please check the following:

NOD32 Control Centre> Update> Setup> Server is set as "Choose Automatically".

Click on Advanced and make sure LAN is set for Broadband ADSL/Cable or Dialup is set for Broadband Wireless/Dialup.

Check Proxy Server Setup> setup to make sure there isn't a tick in there (99.99% of people do not use a proxy).

Check that LAN servers connection> Setup is set to System Account (default).

Beyond this NOD32 will update unless a firewall is blocking Internet connection for NOD32.

The settings are fine.

I was on the net all the time, never had problems with any other site, as i said it has since updated i seem to remember others posting similiar problems, and my guess is that if a lot of people looked at their logs they would see similar messages, lets see

Your log makes me think that either something is misconfigured or blocked or you did not have access to the internet or parts of it - could be a temporary network problem. Do you actually get updates?

Is the problem still occurring?

Are you able to access the servers using the ping, traceroute commands at a Command Prompt] (filename: CMD.EXE) or by attempting to access any of the sites in your web browser, as Marcos suggested? If so, what happened?
