    I am using Avast4 ver 4.1.260 and KPF 4.0.3 is conflicting with it (KPF4 is closing itself after logging on ). So, is it KPF's or Avast4's problem ? :'( o_O

    Hi,

    Imo, very likely the problem stems from Kerio PFW 4, which is, as others here have remarked of late, extremely buggy.

    Personally, I am sticking with 2.1.5 for the time being.

    regards,

    There was a trick to solve that in another thread on this board. Don't know if it works, but check it out

    one is here

    http://www.avast.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1041 for 2.1.5

    Here is the workaround - don't know if it works - my friend has not tried it yet

    As a workaround, try inserting this line to file C:\Program Files\ALWIL Software\Avast4\Data\Avast4.ini into section [MailScanner]:
    UseWSAAccept=0
    then terminate process ashMaiSv.exe and start it again.

    and here is the thread for it

    http://www.avast.com/forum/showthread.php?t=888

    Hope this helps

    Ruben
