Was using KAV6 but have changed back to NOD32 because it's lighter on resources.

Am I the only user of Windows One Care? I use it on 3 computers. It has been great. It cetainly works better than my old Norton as regards seemless integration and speed.

I thought the other day I could not post here as there was no option for me but now I've seen E-As I will use his reply. For my home computer...
    although...
an occasional jaunt over to Kaspers online virus scan, jotti's malware scan and virustotal.

I am back on NOD32 since last week. When this poll started I voted NOD32. After that KAV 6.
I think this poll has to be renewed because it is nearly 17 month's old now ;)

I've been doing a lot of experimenting lately to decide what I'm going to use for the next year, and right now I'm using the McAfee AV and firewall from Comcast. McAfee is a good AV and not great, but I'm not a high risk user. KIS 6 is still slow and buggy on my computer. And NOD32 doesn't have a firewall yet. I rejected Comodo because I wasn't comfortable with the rule-making, and rejected ZoneAlarm and Outpost because they are unstable on my computer. I wouldn't pay extra for NIS 2007.

When NOD32 becomes a suite, I'll consider it. Also will be watching for changes in KIS.

Using AVG for now: on a side note any1 that uses another AV just 'cause the resources are lower should seriously think about getting out of the Stone Age, this day and age memory usage should'nt even be an issue no matter what AV you decide to use and if it is hence some serious upgrading is in order........:D

while my computer is quite recent, i think it would be ridiculous to upgrade a computer for the purpose of running an AV. just MHO.
