Partition Removal

    I need to delete (remove) a partition from a existing hard drive. Is formatating the hard drive the only way to remove the partitiono_O

    No, you could delete the partition through Disk Management (Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Management, right-click on partition, Delete).

    Then, with TI, you would restore the partition next to the unallocated space created by the deletion (see the graphic display in Disk Management) and resize it in the process so as to take up the freed up unallocated space.

    No data in the remaining partitions are lost.

    When done, create a new whole disk image for further use.

    Great solution. Select Computer Management, Disk Management, Drive that has Partition, and select delete partition. Thanks for your help.
