Nice :) I hope the english version will be available soon so I can ditch symantec mobile security from my Nokia N70.

Btw, any plans on adding heuristic engine to the symbian version? Would be awesome to have heuristic detection in the phone since I download a lot of software with the phone trough opera and new symbian viruses/trojans are poping up all the time.

Will this work on a Windows Mobile 5 or 2003 device? If not, any plans to support these OS's?

Oh god, an antivirus program for mobile phones.... And there are how many viruses for phones out there?

    This is just silly!

A cell phone supporting UIQ with Symbian 7 or newer is required to run NOD32 for mobile phones.

So far there have only been 2 viruses discovered made for Pocket PCs so I dont think an AV is neccessary just yet.

That would be very nice.. Unfortunately I don't understand a word of the texts on the site, so I can't decide if I can use it or not.

Some form of translation would be VERY nice to have.. :)

Also, what timeframe for a release are we looking at?
Can it be used with Symbian v9.1 S60?

    Anders.

Yeah.. But judging from other sites and softwares, many apps runs fine on v8.1, but not at all on v9.x...

It won't install on my Nokia N73 with Symbian v9.1 S60, it's not a supported install. :doubt:

Any idea when a version of NOD32 capable of running on Windows Mobile handsets will be released? The majority of the latest WM5 handsets nowadays run with a 200MHz CPU and at least 64MB RAM.

Which of course leads to the question "when can we expect a version for Symbian 9.1 v3"?
I'm really eager to throw out the F-Secure AV from the phone, but for now, it's the only product that actually works on it..

    Hello,

I am unsure of when a version will be available for Symbian 9.1 v3. If you contact support@eset.com with an inquiry then perhaps they can let you know more about forthcoming support for additional platforms.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky
