AVG antispyware ????

    Hi, folks: good or very bad newso_O AVG just release its antispyware, free!! can d/l from majorgeeks.com. It does resemble ewido. Who knows what is next. surprise, surprise.:D

    You have to uninstall ewido before installing AVG antispyware. You can use the same ewido license code for AVG.

    This basically is like ewido re-named.

    No it is not.
    It is officially the death of ewido Anti-Trojan which means that eventually all people that use anti-trojan software will have to search for another program to use instead.
    Pitty it was a good AntiTrojan but a mediocre AntiSpyware.

    PS
    The development team will be concetrating its efforts on advancing the program's detection capabities of "Malware" and not of trojans as it used to.That's why it is the death of ewido .

    Hi,folks: CAUTION; do not mistake this one w/ AVG antimalware; the latter IS new breed of antivirus and antispyware combined. Now I know why did Grisoft boldly change Ewido's name from antimalware to antispyware. Smart move? Only they themslves know. Take care.
