I wonder when they are implementing a IDS. I also wonder if outpost now ha 100% fast user switch support. With 3xx when i switched to another user the outpost icon will appear but all notification balloons where showed in the other account ! If these two things are implemented/fixed i will try too use Outpost again :D

Yes, i think they are to much conserned about those leaktest. They better implement an IDS with signatures and the full fast user switch support :(

agreed, the fast user switching issue was what made me leave Outpost behind

Is this the RC4 on full release, or have mods been made?

The main change with the 4.0 release (from the release candidates) is that it includes the ability to control access to Device/Physical Memory.

Fast user switching is not supported and Win9x/ME systems are only partially supported (Anti-Leak, Self Protection and Game Mode require Win2K/XP onwards).

As for an IDS, others have asked for this but as long as attacks are blocked, knowing what they were is of limited use (and it also raises the issue of false positives).

i would like to ask one thing.
Kaspersky's AV and outpost both have proactive defense and if we use it together than we will have to disable either of the two's proactive defense..

So,my question is which one is better to be used??

I have them both running along with ewido and KAV + Outpost Pro 4 do not have any problem.
So don't worry about any possible conflicts.

In your opinion ,is it worth 9x/me users upgrading to this build?Ive read there are some improvements to the antispyware plugin but apart from this , i cant really see much to upgrade for.
