screensaver blues

    Spywareguard real time scanner seems to generate an interrupt about every 45 seconds. This plays havoc with my screensaver if I happen to be away from my machine. It is so annoying that I have disabled the function. Anyone have any info for me?

    I've also noticed this problem - and also see it was mentioned in this thread without any answer.

    I've currently got the Microsoft windows XP 3D screensaver which drops out after a few seconds if SpywareGuard is running. However if I disable the Browser Hijack Protection it works fine.. o_O

    Any ideas?
