    Link is working now.

    Prices are increased slightly:

BitDefender AntiVirus now costs $39.95 for two users, two years. BitDefender AntiVirus Plus now costs $49.95 for two users, two years and BitDefender Internet Security now costs $69.95 for 2 users, 2 years.

Most likely the prices will remain the same, but the licensing period will fall from 2 years to 1 year after January 1, 2007.

its strange that even after reporting the bugs, bitdefender has chosen to continue with same build...
it stopped my pc from booting and people at forum suggested that there will be difference in the build which will be released..
    Thankyou,mcafee is working fine here!

Thats not really an anti-rootkit thingie. Just a memory scanner. It would say "rootkit" otherwise...

Ok this is strange. I was running the UK version of BD 10 Standard, and it was working fine with no problems. This morning, I started up my computer, and BD wouldn't load. No icon in the task bar. I tried Start>Programs>BitDefender, and still no BD startup. So I uninstalled this version and installed the new U.S./universal version. The install went smoothly. The BD 10 GUI opened. I configured it the way I wanted it. I rebooted. BD didn't load. No icon in the task bar. I can't open it. This is very frustrating. I'm going to their live chat tech support to see if they can figure this out. I will let you know the out come.

EDIT....I went to their live chat tech support, but they are off line at this time. Decided to try rebooting again. Oh my gosh, there's the BD icon in the task bar. Some what happy now, but afraid to try another reboot. :)

But the new web site is very slow. They may still be updating the components. The registered user site is also very slow, and the country drop down box does not work.

Yes, the components are indeed being updated. The country drop-down box is probably not working because many of the individual country websites have not been upgraded to the new website design yet.

Interesting, i just noticed i have an Internet Security 10 key under my BitDefender account. Looks like they gave it to beta testers of BD10 IS.
Anyone else beta testing it and got the key too?

Haven't tried it yet but i guess it's the full thing :)
