if I could send it to you I would, trust me. I'll try it again. The file is called Raw Packet in the Log folder, correct?

Internet Filtering not enabled is like using regular Software without Packet Filtering Layer…

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I was eating supper... as for having Internet Filtering off, how much does it ruin my security?

Can I just open my log and copy paste it here? I'll give it a try.

    Hey p00ter_nerd

In Look ‘n’ Stop’s “Options” screen go-to “Advanced Options…” and check “Raw Log” and click OK button for that window. Re-produce the anomaly WITH Internet Filtering Enabled and then go-to \Soft4Ever\looknstop\logs\ and open up raw08242003.log and “Select ALL” and paste into PM and send…

    Thanks in Advance.

    Hey p00ter_nerd

What you are pasting me is from RawPacket.log which generates when clicking "Raw Content" for Packet's Content. Do what I mentioned previously to get what I’m looking for…

    Thanks.

I did what you told me to do, EXACTLY, and NOTHING AT ALL!!! Sorry, I'm just getting frustrated...

Do you think I should uninstall LnS, delete it, and download another one? Because if I don't get it to work soon that's what I'm gonna do.

    Hey p00ter_nerd

Verify that you have Internet Filtering Layer enabled, in Look ‘n’ Stop’s “Internet Filtering” screen and see if “Internet filtering enabled” has a check for Activation. Make sure EnhancedRulesSet.rls hasn’t been altered in anyway otherwise Re-installation of Look ‘n’ Stop would be recommended…

Make sure “Raw Log” Feature been Activated and then re-boot, when you encounter connection issues, the Look ‘n’ Stop’s “Log” screen will log packets and also been logged to file which I’m looking for.

I understand what you were telling me to do, it just wasn't working... ...I'll try to download a new version. Maybe I didn't get all of the needed files/drivers, either way I'll be back on later to tell you how I made out...

THANK YOU PHANTOM for all of your patience with a first time user. It means a lot to have someone whom I dont know care...

What you are posting in your messages is the information from the Look n Stop set up screens. To see and copy the raw log data that Phantom wants you will need to use Windows Explorer to find the directory where Loon n Stop is installed and open a folder called "logs" and choose the most current file. this should be one made when you are experiencing your problems. The directory probably looks something like this:

    C:\Program Files\Soft4Ever\looknstop\logs

    good luck

    Hmmm p00ter_nerd…

Are you still using EnhancedRulesSet.rls? And are you using Look ‘n’ Stop v2.04p2 or just Look ‘n’ Stop v2.04? The Version Information available in Look ‘n’ Stop’s “Welcome” screen. And last but not least, did you apply the new Application Filtering driver?

    Hey p00ter_nerd

Sorry to hear; if you need, send me the Raw Log file anytime you wish and we’ll get that issue resolved for once and for all…

Visit http://www.wilderssecurity.info/ for Look ‘n’ Stop v2.04p2 and the most recent Drivers Update….

I think I downloaded an incomplete file last time. I tried the new file log and it worked, let me PM it to you, and while you solve the issue I'll get those driver updates. BTW, I have two logs, should I send them both? And its not the raw packet thingy either.

I tried updating to v. 2.04p2 and it still won't allow anything with to surf without internet filtering unchecked...

As for the driver, I have yet to install it...

I am strongly considering another firewall. If I have to disable internet filtering just to surf, somethings not right. AND,It wont let me install the driver..... I'm thinkin Outpost Pro..... maybe I'll check them out instead......
