4.0 disabling resident shield every night...

    Every morning when I get home the resident shield is inactive. It changes state to active with no problem. But what gives? Anyone else ever seen this happen?

    I have it setup to automatically scan each night. And it does scan as it says the last time it scanned was the current day. I'm running Windows XP.
