i read the description on their site as well as at d.com,but i am a touch confused..
is it for proactive defense against spyware/malware or a full-fledged anti-malware?

I experienced that too, it confused me. But indeed, Cyberhawk and Opera just don't get along. It makes Opera freeze a lot.

I thought that I would try out Cyberhawk, but when I tried to install it, it insisted on the latest version of IE. I don't use that although an earlier version is used.

    Does C/H rely on IE?

Hi,folks: I have the internet connection problem solved; the culprit is the O/S firewall from ZAAS. I turned off that feature and now it is a smoothsailing.:isay:

Hello. I am using Antivir PE currently with FireFox and Windows Xp Firewall. I was however thinking about using The next release of Comodo Firewall, and adding ProcessGuard Free. I was wondering how Cyberhawk is still doing on everyones PC, and if you think it would work okay with Comodo and PG Free? Thanks

This cyberhawk is cool stuff and i hope they'll keep it running like this forever.
It's a behavior blocker that can be running along existing AV to even firther compliment it.
    AOL KAV6 + Cyberhawk = almost full KAV6 :)

Does anyone know if Cyberhawk can be used as an application controller to stop Antivir Antivirus notify exe that prompts Notifier Window during updates? I was going to use PG Free for this, but Cyberhawk sounds like it might.

Has there been an independent review of Cyberhawk to say how good is it?

I would like to see it tested before installing.

Any info how Cyberhawk auto-updates? Just behavior rules or also program itself?

RejZoR. Do you think Cyberhawk would be a good addition to use with ZA Free and AVG Free? Also do you notice any system slow down at all? Logging on and off, boot time, or internet? I would rather use this then ProcessGuard Free or SSM Free, but my PC is Windows XP with only 512MB of RAM. I have noticed slight slow downs with Avast and Windows Defender in the past. Thanks

iv found no slow down with cyberhawk and as RejZoR says Cyberhawk plus AOL kav 6 is a nice free combination worth trying. you could just run with XP firewall . currently i am running the above with Look n stop firewall on XP 250 rams and it flies along. I have no other security software in real time. just using firefox and No Script and adblock plus.

solarpowered candle. Then would you also say that Cyberhawk is stable, and trouble free enough to use without any conflicts or problems? Also, how do you like the AOL Kav 6 freebie? Thanks for your earlier reply.

i dont find find any problems with Cyberhawk and it is very stable on my pc. I think that if there has been any conflicts it may more than likely be due to too many security apps on a users pc.
regarding AOl Kav. Its brilliant. Its even better than the old Kav Lite that was $19 a few years back when kaspersky sold it. Its my favourite and i will be continuing to use it. these suggestions for "settings" seem to work well

I've installed Cyberhawk but my LnS keeps asking permission for a Cyberhawk DLL. How do you stop this? Usually a programme asks once and that's it. Cyberhawk is repeating.

    Thanks

i just dont know lol . its worked fine here. all i can think of is that you may be putting a checkmark in the options " once only" or for "this session only" when the dll pops up. rather than just "allow" ?

New users - if you install Cyberhawk ensure you have your A-V already installed.

I had another go with AOL to make sure it was slowing down my speed. It does, so I re-installed Antivir.

Cyberhawk got really excited when scanning, using 50% CPU.

Uninstalled and re-installed Cyberhawk and no CPU used.

Initially tried asking Cyberhawk to ignore avguard but it didn't present it as a process so couldn't set ignore.

If anybody sees any reviews please post.

Only using it because some of you know what you are doing and if it's good enough for you then good enough for me.

    Ian
