Sorry, I thought I read something about this issue but can't locate.

Latest attempt to install the latest v3.4.05 from PG website. Once rebooted, Microsoft error box reads:"The GUI Aspect or Proceess Guard has encountered a problem and needs to close". Cannot innitiate PG after install.
Error message repeats on each attempt to execute PG.
    Any quick fixo_O
Any one with same situation after install?
    Thanks

Haven't seen the GUI crash for a long time, I suggest complete uninstall via help file manual uninstall.

The "easy" way would be uninstall from Safe Mode. No self protection, all files should just be removed. Reboot back to Windows and install, choose YES to reset config files.

    Thanks for suggestion. No LUCKo_O
As you may be recall, I have been trying to establish PG v.3.4.05 on my machine since day one but with no success. I have uninstalled and reinstalled as per Help File Manual Uninstall "to the letter" and didn't change a thing. After reinstall of version the second time and reboot the same Microsoft Error msg reads:"The GUI Aspect of Process Guard has encountered a problem and needs to close". PG never does innitiate.
So I'm still stuck on v.3.3b4 as the newest version that functions.
    Don't Know.
