Need recommendation for anti-spam S/W

I know this doesn't belong in this forum, but can somebody tell me a good product to filter out spam in Outlook 2003.

I'm in Canada and use the Sympatico junk mail filter but more and more spam is getting through these days.

We use Mailwasher here, although it takes a little experience to sort out what it doesn't tag, (losing legit mail is a concern for a business) it does the job very very nicely. It also doesn't care what email program you use.

 

I will strongly recommend Spambayes
It works as a plugin for Outlook (only), uses bayesian filtering, very simple to use and it's free

I depend on a good spam filter. I get in excess of 400+ spam e-mails a day. I've tried quite a few and settled on Qurb. It's never let me down. Downside is CA has recently purchased Qurb. Re-branded it E-Z Trust anti-spam. Not sure what, if anything they've done to the apps internals. In any case, I'd give it a free trial.

Pop Peeper is a great tool. Look at whats on your server and delete it if you choose without wasting your time downloading. You can check the header or look at the whole message...

And since you're using Outlook 2003..don't forget to run your Office updates (which you should be doing anyways as well as Windows updates..just update to Microsoft update...it painlessly takes care of them both). Because the Office updates include definition updates for Outlooks built in anti-spam..usually 1x update a month. It's similar to updating your antivirus software.
