After the system is restored and windows boots it will search for all the drivers that windows doesn't have the drivers for and install them!!

So when you have a driver database on your network (for example based on www.driverpacks.net) your up and running in no time! Forget searching for drivers acronis does it for you!!

Only 1 remark which acronis should look into to change. When drivers aren't digitally signed you get the usual windows warning to proceed anyway. If Acronis could also fix this it would make it unattended 100 percent!

Question for Acronis: Is this feature also added to Universal Deploy of Snap Deploy? And if yes the my above remark should surely be fixed!

THANK for making the product even better and listening to your customers!!:thumb:

When you make the original image, select Properties of "My Computer" - then "Hardware" - then "Driver Signing" and set it to "Ignore" and "System Default". Works for me!

I will try it out. Are there more people who can confirm this?

Maybe Acronis could add the options to ignore driver singing in the newer Universal Restore builds by changing these keys:

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver Signing

    HKCU\Microsoft\Driver Signing

Under both is a value call "Policy" (binary)

When set to "00" it ignores the driver signing policy

    Hello Jeremy,

I have already submitted this enhancement to our Development Team. They have assured me that it will be implemented (probably in the next version of Acronis Universal Restore\Acronis Snap Deploy).

Thank you for the provided information.
