    Everytime I want my computer to recognize my jump/ flash drive, nothing happens. I keep installing and uninstalling the drive and I never see the drive in the "my computer" section. I tried it on my other computer and it works. Do i need to be connected to the internet for it to work? Any suggestions?

    If it works on one and not the other, I would say there is something wrong with USB port on the non-working computer.
    Look in device manager and check the USB controllers for any errors.

    I see the same issue with PCs loaded with the latest Norton AV (usually stock HPs). Not sure if Norton is the root cause of the problem because I only test my theory with demo PCs at the store (cannot clean install Windows or remove Norton AV).

    Also make sure that Windows is actually assigning a different drive letter to the usb flash drive. Windows seems to randomly forget its settings for me with certain flash drives.

    [Run-->diskmgmt.msc]
