    Works fine for me now. This what I got when I queried the server;

    "Initiating server query ...
Looking up IP address for domain: www.eset.uk.com
The IP address for the domain is: 195.26.36.7
Connecting to the server on standard HTTP port: 80
[Connected] Requesting the server's default page.
The server returned the following response headers:
    HTTP/1.1 302 Found
    Date: Sun, 25 Jun 2006 21:56:14 GMT
    Server: Apache/1.3.33 (Debian GNU/Linux) DAV/1.0.3 PHP/4.3.10-16
    Location: http://www.eset.co.uk/
    Connection: close
    Transfer-Encoding: chunked
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
    Query complete."

Thanks - but it still gives me "The page cannot be displayed". Tried from a couple of different pc's in different locations (different ISPs too). Refreshed cache, all the usual. Wierd. Has been like this for at least the last three hours.

OK - but the page at the other end of that IP address is a holding page for a company called izR Solutions - definitely not Eset.

It's pretty unlikely, but have you checked your Hosts file?

Yes - no mention of eset in there - plenty of others (nasties I guess) being directed to 127.0.0.1, but no sign of Eset.

This is very strange! I get regular emails from (webley@) eset.uk.com (who, I assume, are the UK resellers) because that's how I find out about definitions updates and latest threats etc.

If I try and access eset.co.uk I get the same as you 'cannot connect to remote server'. Is it possible eset and their reseller would maintain separate UK pages and only eset's is down?

Also - and more worryingly - the UK reseller, Aspect Systems, own website is also giving "Page cannot be displayed" (www.aspect-systems.com). Maybe they've got business problems. How do we fnd UK pricing info without a UK reseller?

As I have in the past. I can't get to eset.uk.com, eset.co.uk or aspect-systems.com. Seems like all UK reseller sites are down.

There is a phone number I have used to Eset UK.

    Tel: 0845 838 0832

That is printed on their emails.

The UK sites were very slow & often not responding yesterday. Everything seems fine this morning.

Indeed possible - I hear that zlob sites are now starting to disappearing.... Of course the two thing could just be entirely unrelated, so I can only guess :)

    Hi Blackspear/Guys

Nothing so glamourous - ESET/Aspect sites were down on Sunday for a while due to a broken fibre optic link which affected a lot of UK sites :-(

They have been fine since then :)
