hi Blaze, i wish you'd start posting again. sell stuff on the internet. you can send kooboxes to me and i'll sell them here in the UK. you need a us credit card to buy them. lol i can't see it happening though and i'm sure we'd manage to lose lots of money http://www.koobox.com/
Greetings Mr. Blaze! With all the outsourcing and other factors made by powers that be, your current job may soon be considered a premier, sought after one for the majority. I hear nurses are in high demand and the pay is good. They are even hiring them away from countries that desperately need them. It may not be a glamour job or anything like that, but you are helping people heal, so it can be rewarding I guess.
Yep, like DeVinco said, most anything in the Health Care Biz.....it's booming with the Boomers getting older. Even a CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant is a good place to start, takes about nine months to complete or less some places... http://stats.bls.gov/oco/ocos165.htm about CNA's, Home Health Aides, and Psych Orderlies-all needed professions http://www.carepathways.com/employ-resumes.cfm?State=OR Info for Oregon, is that where you are or WA? The link below gives info on all the nursing registries in the states, just call or email and they will tell you the places to check out for schooling too. You can probably find it faster than I can get this link right, Blaze....it's a registry listing all the offices where you have to register to be a NA, or nurse or orderly.. Blaze- you can get help with schooling and with your rent, childcare while learning. You can also get major discounts on buying a house now.....it might be something you could look into. Home Health Aides are really booming too.....they take care of people for a few hours a day in the people's own home. Good luck with any thing you choose, even the kooboxes with Ice....LOL! Marja
Someone's got to teach me to get these links right!! Don't know what I do to get them so confused...... http://www.oregoncenterfornursing.org/learn.php http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache...uirements for Oregon&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=6 http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos083.htm Try these...don't know why the others didn't go where I went.....
