For the life of me I cannot find the link to the Acronis True Image boot disk .iso file when I have searched the forum. Does anyone have it handy?

    Thanks

    Hello Ken,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

I'm afraid that there are no any ISO files to create the bootable rescue media on the Forum.

If you mean a standard bootable rescue media, you can create such ISO image file in Acronis True Image by means of Acronis Bootable Rescue Media Builder by yourself.

Please find the information on how to use Acronis True Image 9.0 Home in the respective User's Guide.

If you mean any special ISO files for Acronis True Image bootable rescue media, please provide us with the detailed information on the problem.

    Thank you.

Actually, I did find the reference to the link a few minutes ago, supplied by another support person.

    hxxp://download.acronis.com/sl/stpvpnlxcraelmtfdykz/support/ISO/TrueImage9.1_s_e.iso

Anyway, I did not need it to solve my problem. On the third(!) uninstall attempt with the new instructions, and the third reinstall, I was able to get things working. Instead of a "Typical" install I did a "Complete" install. I used the program to make a disk and used the disk to create new bootable hard drive clone. All is fine.

I rely heavily on your program for peace of mind that my data is backed up reliably, so I was not thrilled when I encountered problems after a botched attempt at upgrading from Win2000 to WinXP. When I tried to use the image that I had created, I was not happy to find that it was not read by the program as being a legitimate imate, etc. (I don't need to go back over the problem...) Anyway, after the new uninstall routine and the successful reinstall, all is well.

    Thanks
    Ken K

We are glad to hear that the problem was resolved.

However, could you please provide the link to the thread where you have found the ISO image mentioned above?
