FYI... NOD32 is now finding WRSSSDK.exe as a FP. unknown NewHeur+PE. Anyone else seen this?

I've installed the latest SpySweeper 4.5.9 and my up-to-date NOD32 1.1537 didn't throw any alert.

It depends on the signature or Advance Heuristic module version in NOD32..
This problem was fixed a long time ago...

I had this alert too ... it appeared after re-installing NOD (spysweeper was running on background)

    after that, no more pop-up.

if this pop-up still appears, maybe you should place this file in the exclusion items ?

Just make sure you are using the most current virus signatures, that's all. There's no need to exclude anything.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's running old signatures. Bunch of NOD32 users have constant update problems (NOD32 says it's up to date even though thats certanly not true). Retail versions, not trial!

My NOD32 is always up to date ... this popup only appeared once (after re-installing NOD while SS was running... it was 2 months ago) it never appeared at boot-up or after enabling/disabling NOD and/or SS ...

so ther is no pb at all between NOD and SS... :D

I'm not seeing this at all, where are you getting this information from, as the forum is certainly not being flooded with such posts?

    Blackspear.

Strange, I just scanned my C:\Program Files\Webroot directory now, where SpySweeper version 4.5.9 (build 709) is installed with Spyware definitions v 700, and I did get no warnings/alerts? My NOD32 is updated to 1.1601 (20060615).

No warning here either. Both NOD and SpySweeper are same version as tazdevl's. o_O

Dunno but I'd hazard a guess and say that I'm a fairly advanced user. I realize that a FP was caught by AH following a reinstall of NOD32 before sign and AH updates. However, this was recent and everything was up to date.
