Worlds Most expensive Mousepad??

I was just on the F1 racing website. They now have their own line of high end products. Anyone need a mousepad for 260 pounds??

That mousepad doesn't really exist. Its a joke

@WYBaugh: Designing a flat square was not what taxed the F1 engineers. Y'see, even the tiny sup-particle things were designed with 3D modelling software, including the tiny microscopic bumps on the surface of the mouse pad. It must have cost a lot because:

a)The microscopic bumps requires a graphics card capable of high-precision per-pixel bump mapping.

b)The lighting required to render the surface bumps should be detailed enough with at least Pixar-type lighting effects at 64-bit color.

c)Of course, such a square uses high poly counts, with over 31 million polygons per second.

d)The stretching and physics dynamics of the mousepad as well as durability estimation also required great CPU and brain power.

And since engineers who wasted their time developing this take a lot of money, the price is justified. This is a state-of-the-art mouse pad.

<The joke is, all of the above statements are what the manufacturer of the mouse pad will tell you in order to justify its product.>

LOL... ...you really had me going on that one Firecat.....It sounded a lot cooler than the piece of sponge with cloth glued on it that I have for a mousepad

 

LOL. It's like in that movie, I think it was "The Hudsucker Proxy", where this guy played by Tim Robbins thinks he's invented the most incredible thing ever, and when he shows the design it's just a circle (which is supposed to be the hula-hoop, btw).
