I've switched exclusively to Thunderbird using OpenPGP/Enigmail in Linux (main OS) ... as well as the redirect/bounce extension. When I do use windows I use Courier, Pegasus and Thunderbird. :)

Same here except for the linux part(working on it, but my 250gb hard drive won't allow me to resize the windows partition that engulfs the entire thing because qtparted keeps on saying that there is a bad sector :doubt: :'( )

Have you tried to partition it with anything else ... a Windows based trial? Or Imaging the current Windows partition ... formating, partitioning, then restoring the Windows Partition .... and finally installing Linux?

Unfortunately, all of the windows trials I have tried don't actually allow you to commit the results to the hard drive. Right now, I am kind of worried about that bad sector(s) and I might actually get around since it is the summer and I don't have much going on and call dell and ask for a new hardrive since this one is under one year old, and already has some bad sectors :D .

With your second idea, I don't have an imaging program even though I really should have one and I don't have anywhere to image 50 GB of data to.

Thanks for the help though, I appreciate it :thumb:

I use Thunderbird and I was able to move its profiles folder, which contains my settings, email-address-books and emails, to my data partition. Even an upgrading of Thunderbird didn't affect this separation.
I did the same for Firefox.
