I recently upgraded to TI v9.0.3633 on a Win2000 Pro system. When I create a Recovery Boot CD and boot with it, the recovery desktop is distorted - I'm pretty sure that the display driver on the CD is the problem. I've contacted tech support by e-mail and they told me to download the .iso file for v9.0.2337 and use that. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

I downloaded the .iso for v9.0.3633, burned it to a CD and booted it up - it is distorted like the ones I created from TI Home v9.0.3633. The v9.0.2337 .iso I downloaded worked well, but very low resolution screen. Something is wrong with the display driver that gets loaded on the v9.0.3633. I have burned 5 CDs now trying to get a good 3633 recovery boot CD. After reading through the other posts here about problems with build 3633, it looks to me like there are some major problems with it - and I haven't even gotten around to testing doing a backup and restore. All of this stuff should be fixed in beta - or are you using your customers as beta testers to find out all the problems with a new release? It really doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about using TI to back my system up - will it work if I get in a bind and have to rebuild my system because of a hard disk failure?

Ok, I did a backup of two volumes of my Win2000 Pro system, from Windows, with TI v9.0.3633, to an internal drive partition - the backups ran ok and when I validated the backups from Windows, they checked out ok. I then booted up to the v9.0.2337 restore CD and tried to validate the backups - the two backups were not reconized as TI backups. I then booted up the v9.0.3633 restore CD and was able to access the validate icon - both backups checked out ok. So, it looks like the only problem I have is the distorted desktop with the TI v9.0.3633 restore CD...

I submitted the two files you tell me to before I started this thread and the problem is still ongoing. I haven't received a solution - the distorted screen is ongong, and as I said before, I have burned 5 CDs so far trying to get the True Image v9.0.3633 Recovery Boot CD to work without success...
