Anti Virus for 64bit???

    Which is the best out or any that will actually run on 64bit windows?

    avast!

    Runs on Windows XP and Vista 64bit edition.

    i have heard that Grisoft AVG supports vista and 64bit, is it any good tho?

    Yes, Although I think AVG's scanning engine is as not strong as many other AV's but I feel that AVG must doing something right in the real-world scenario. AVG Free is very (most) popular while there're better choices such as AntiVir Classic and avast! Home, many users like it and trust AVG to protect their computers which I don't understand why. :rolleyes:

    well i have used the free edition before but it says on the website thaty the free edion of AVG doesnt support 64bit.

    i have tried nod32 before and it slowwed my machine down horribly

    Hi superdookie...

    I'm surprised NOD32 gave you any problems...o_O

    Other than that, at this point in time, Avast would be your best bet.
